Individual Therapy for Adolescents and Adults

People often seek therapy to resolve past and present experiences and life complexities. Through the development of a safe, affirming, interactive, attentive, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship, I believe that meaningful healing can be attained allowing persons to live gratifying lives. Although I work with a wide variety of concerns, my practice focuses on supporting persons who have survived trauma including sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse and neglect, intimate partner violence and stalking, dissociative disorders, survivors of cults/high control groups, alcohol and substance misuse and addiction, sadness, depression and anxiety, grief/loss, chronic medical issues, academic challenges, and life transitions and adjustments. I have worked with the queer and trans/non-binary/gender diverse communities for approximately 25 years and I offer a supportive and informed perspective when working with persons in polyamorous relationships, consensual non-monogamy, and the kink communities.
